If you look around the world today, if you look at the news or watch the TV chat shows – you’ll see that there are a lot of people lost. People, who are angry, frustrated, outraged, despairing – all trying to find their way home. We were all born with the need to be valued and loved. And we all have an innate desire to find our home. In today’s reading from John’s Gospel, we read about a group of men who found the One – the only One – who could fill their hearts, take away the lostness and pain – and lead them home. And the good news of great joy is that while this account took place 2000 years ago, this One is alive and well – and reigning above all powers and authorities. And He still offers us grace upon grace. And He still offers to lead us home.
